Vitocco In The Community
Investing in Better Futures
Success means we can and want to give back, especially to Western Sydney.
Vitocco Charitable Foundation
We established the Vitocco Charitable Foundation in 2022 to further our commitment to improving the lives of the members of our community, while preserving the vibrant cultures that make us who we are. Through the Vitocco Charitable Foundation, we support local organisations who are working hard to make a difference both now and in the future. We take a hands-on approach and give back as often as we can with the hope of driving meaningful change that will benefit generations to come.
Vitocco Charitable Foundation
Each year, Vitocco Charitable Foundation hosts our annual Charity Golf Day with the aim of raising funds and awareness for local causes. We are joined by friends, family, associates and local businesses who continue to gather together to show their support.
This year, we raised $53,232 for Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), which will provide early response therapy to local babies from the Campbelltown/Macarthur region, at CPA’s Prairiewood Centre.
In 2024, we raised $30,000 for the Blue Wren House Camden’s Women Shelter, which enabled them to provide safe accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence.
In 2023, our Charity Golf Day raised $26,500 for the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation, which went towards purchasing paediatric medical equipment.
Our organisation has plans to create other fundraising projects in order to accelerate and increase our community impact in the future.
Investing in Better Futures
In 2022, the Vitocco Charitable Foundation donated to the Powerhouse Museum. This donation will fund two key programs aimed at celebrating and showcasing the contributions of past, present and future Western Sydney residents to the world.
The first of these programs is the Vitocco Family Kitchen, a cutting-edge industry facility designed for research and product development. The Vitocco Family Kitchen will feature a state-of-the-art large-scale demonstration kitchen with seating for a two-hundred-person audience. Complete with innovative technology for digital content, this space will engage audiences with inspiring stories around agricultural and food science culturally specific to Western Sydney.
The second program is the Vitocco Legacy Project – a ten-year initiative to research, collect and share the histories and accomplishments of Western Sydney. With its own full-time curator, the Vitocco Legacy Project will focus on research and programming across the disciplines of agriculture, manufacturing, changing land use, cultural diversity and food production.
